In checking the shop manual, it shows a range of 4.5 - 6.5 psi so I am a bit high at 7 for fuel pump pressure. The carb restorer recommends and tests to 5 psi. I have a new spare pump, but may leave for now if I don’t see any problems.
Thanks for input on brace…I reinstalled in same position after changing the plugs…didn’t think about it. In looking at the assembly manual, it does show the brace under the cowl, so I’ll swap it around.
My only concern is the taller Shelby valve covers raise the PCV valve / brass elbow, and almost makes contact with the brace. If I put the brace in the correct location under the cowl, the brass elbow may contact the brace. I’ll try and see.
