Hi Chris…“In The Flesh”… still banging away at it…just in case you dont think its been a while…my son is headed to University of Buffalo to start the Spring semester ! Delayed start for a seat in the Engineering School …how is BEANTOWN treating you ? The Mangy DragCat is sorting out a new combo…Installed a 408 Stroker witha Hyd Roller Cam and dropped the rear gear set to 4:30’s The old skool solid flat tappet stock stroke 5:14 7400 RPM thru the traps has been changed. The new combo is 60 ft @ 1.49 ! and pulling the wheels…I have some work to do…the pass in the Vid was 11.1 up at LVD …which is .2 slower than Island or Rest in Greed E Town the trap speed was only 116 mph …kinda low for an 11.1 pass @ 2,800 lbs not sure if its way off…or just the 408 stroker killing the short end…was sure fun running down the Vette who was crying in the lanes about me running slicks. I left the old dial in on the window from when my Valve springs were junk at the end of last year…OOOOPS…psych !

Far be it from me to add to anything protest related, especially since I myself get all giddy when I see a cat at the track but…from the video it looked like you red bulbed ? Maybe its just the vid quality 
NO DOUBT About it… why he was complaining was the track had three separate classes…Street…Pro and Super…then when it came time to go rounds…they called all 3 classes to two separate lanes…to run as one class…NO ONE was happy…soo he bitched about my slicks…I could have bitched about him having a power adder…we all could have bitched about having to run the electronic cars…Soooo…we agreed that it was all BS and how about making a race of it…he was dialing 12.8 on his Vette…he would run 12.4 I dialed 11.19…ran 11.10
The bet was he gets he hit and the clear off of his green…if I run him down I get $500 if I dont catch him he gets $500 We agreed this was at least a race with agreed terms…soo YES…I gave him MORE than the clear…but still ran him down…since I fouled out BEFORE he ran too fast…he got to go back for another round…I took his money and went home.
And by the way he was a sportsman about the the payoff…said he could not understand how I went by him like he was parked on the big end…he said it was equal to his best ever ET ran .4 below his dial…he asked how big my second kit was ? When I told him I have no power adder he said …no f88*n way …I told him he was welcome to look…free of charge…he did not accept !
Ok, thanks, now I get it. Glad he was a good sport about it. Nice to see a cat at the track !
Glad to hear you’re still at it & you son is doing cool things too. 
My oldest went off to college in NH this year (went skiing w/his buddies today, the brat), and my middle guy got his permit last week, so yeah: it’s been too long.
I’m trying to free up some of the toy budget (see the thread linked below) so we can join you at the drags & have 2 Gen 1 cars out there. If RB takes his out, it will be 3 
The Boston burbs are treating us well, it’s a pretty chill place to live vs. North Jersey.
Shoot me a PM and we’ll circle those wagons. I get down to NYC about 8x/year for work, so it should not be that hard to hook up & make the man buy us drinks/steaks.

Nice run! I like the looks of this Drag Cat… ready to pounce with its rear claws gripped to the track. Very nostalgic look too. Very cool
