NICE!!! That will be a cool propulsion system!!!

Got my trim ring installed today:

I also managed to pull my emblem out, clean it and reinstall it. The magic tool that made the job A LOT easier: A tea spoon. No sharp edges to cut the vinyl, and it got right behind the emblem and popped it out easily. Putting it back in was just a slow process of using nothing but even pressure and a lot of massaging the vinyl as I went just like Don showed.
Thanks!!!
That looks nice!
Okay, I pulled the trigger yesterday and placed this order with WCCC since all the parts are back in stock:
Complete Grille Kit: Vacuum solenoid with ground wire, concours hoses, rebuilt actuators, new pivot bolts for actuators, and new tension springs for headlight doors.
Premium headlight door bumpers
Headlight adjusting screws. I have changed these before, but I now know you need to trim some of them to keep from destroying them when adjusting.
I also am headed to northeast of Phoenix for work on the 2nd week of July, so when I am done there in late August, I am picking up Bill’s fuel injected 302 to bring back home.
I’m thinking the stock 8" should handle that with a rebuilt kit being driven with an C4?
Uh oh!!! Guess what day it is. Guess…what…day…it…is…

The fuel injected 302 is in my shed now awaiting to be installed into my car!!!
I just have to do some maintenance to my daily driver to make sure it can be daily driven reliably for another 50,000 miles before I tackle this project.
Hump day? ![]()
Glad you got your engine! Very cool!
Somebody’s happier’n a camel on Wednesday…
Sweeeet!!!
Dead sexy!
The engine looks good. I like the fuel injection. ![]()

Its an early Christmas miracle!!!
That little sticker on the lower drivers side of the windshield is a local inspection sticker. That means the headlight doors, headlights, turn signals, reverse lights, brake lights and horn all worked on command!!! The Cougar is officially street legal for the state of Louisiana. Now I can drive it more often and have to worry about the rest of the morons on the road that much more.
SCHWIIIIIIING!!!
LED gauge light swap done. The kit from HiPo parts garage. It doesn’t dim though, but I don’t want to add a resistor and put all the extra load back into the gauge cluster wiring.
Anyone know why my amp light won’t go off?? Just a wire came undone??

Looks great from where I sit!
I think the amp light will need to be a regular type bulb to work correctly.
