Pic of 1970 convertible fuel line

My booster and hose are not original. But it measures 15” from tee.

So I sit down to tape in the white clip and forgot ask for the measurement for the white stripe hose. How long from the silver splitter to the white clip on shock tower. A parts car sure would be handy for these types of questions. Thanks

White stripe from grommet to splitter is also 12”

I need the other side measurement. Metal splitter white hose to first white clip on shock tower. It looks like its loose and has a bend to the backside of shock tower from photo. Thanks

18” that direction. From the shock tower clip, the white stripe hose alone loops down by the brake distribution block and comes back up to the splitter that sits on top of brake booster.

That’s what I was looking for. Thank you. Have a great weekend.

Thought I add some pics to show progress from your help Calicat.

Wow - beautiful work!

Thanks dude. I haven’t cut the booster hose yet. I’ve put RPM (rust prevention magic) on everything bare metal and on most of the bolts to try and preserve the natural look. I need to clean the silver paint off the top of the steering gear box and put some RPM on it.

The hood hinges and shock top brackets were originally black phosphate and oil. I’ve heard it’s not too hard to replicate. But they look nice natural too!

Rare70Cat, what is the 4 digit number on your Bendix brake booster? Can’t quite make it out. Nice engine bay detail work by the way!

Good catch Calicat. I bought the heavy hood hinges from Wccc and sent those, shock caps and hood latch to Deadnutson and had them phosphate and oiled. The hood hinges are what KTL put on the car. When the hood comes off to install the engine I’ll put the hood hinges back on that I had phosphate/oiled. The nuts on the hood scoop are wrong also and am getting the correct nuts from CougarBill.

It’s not hard at all and there are a few threads on the process here somewhere. I’ve done a lot of my parts at home.
