Time to move to 32 spline?
Think you mean 31 spline. Will call Moser in the morning to see what their 28 spline units are rated for. Going to 31 will be a pain as I am unsure I can retrofit my Detroit True Trac with 31 spline side gears. Might have to buy a complete new unit (yikes).

I would recommend that you quit playing around with those Tonka Toy axles. A real man would go to these:
58 tooth, 4.8" pitch diameter Caterpillar dump truck axles. Problem solved!

So here’s one of my new axles, marked to monitor twisting.
And here’s what I used to mark them (oil-based marker):
Marker worked well. Hope they don’t twist!
FWIW department… I think it is really cool that you are driving the car hard enough to need to check for twisted axles. Seriously big plums required to do that with a car this nice.
