I bought a 69Cougar XR7 a few years back and dont know much about the engine except it is a 351 W with supposedly 10k into it. It is a 69 block but aftermarket heads. I pulled a plug and it is a 5/8” short thread Champion RV17YC. I think we called them peanut plugs in the 70’s. I had to put the stock points distributor in it for my Petronix went south at will and left me stranded too many times. Went back to stock coil too. Would the gap be .035 as compared to considerably wider electronic gap. Also I can’t find a cross reference of Champion to Motorcraft. Any advice is appreciated
Factory plug would Autolite 45 gapped at .035
