I’m thinking about having some high-flow exhaust headers installed on my '76 cougars 351w. Just looking to do basic stuff to make small improvements to performance. Any recommendations appreciated. So far the engine is pretty much stock except for an upgraded edelbrock air filter. Thanks in advance

I’d put a 4V intake and carb on it before headers. You can do a dual plane like a Performer intake and Edelbrock carb.
If you do the 4V carb, then do dual exhaust.
If you’re dead set on headers - unsure of availability for that car - but I’d go shorties before long tube.
