Oh, so telling us we piss in glasses and drink it isn’t name calling…w/e use the hammer on me!
I believe he insulted the beer. This is not new, in some cases correct, and not directed at anyone in particular. This is the beer thread so it is the right place to state opinions about beer. People have been trash talking American beer for ever, and it has served to make a lot of brewers step up and do better.
Not your Father’s Root Beer is actually pretty dang good!

I agree!!! this is goooood!
Trois Pistoles :y:

Was 42 years ago Friday.
Had a couple of these last night, in their memory.
It’s a pretty good beer.

Visited a little craft brewery in NW Arkansas last Thursday, http://saddlebock.com/ . Sampled many of their selections, and there were very few that I didn’t like. If you find yourself in the Springdale/Fayetteville area with nothing to do, go by and see them.
I was in the Czech Republic in September and tried a bunch of their beers - mostly good, and all pretty similar. One that stood out to me was Kozel. They make a dark and a light and I thought they were both very tasty. I brought home one of their official glasses with their prancing goat logo on it. (Turns out you can buy cool beer glasses for cheap straight from most bars / restaurants). The bad news is, there’s nowhere in the US to get it, as far as I can tell.
Hey! Speaking of beer, have you seen WCCC’s new XR-7 beer mug? Shameless advertising, I know, but it’s relevant!
If you guys ever visit Houston, we have had a renaissance of microbreweries over the past 10 years.
You can actually get a Brew Pass (https://www.visithoustontexas.com/travel-planning/marketplace/brewery-experiences/?svap=10888&svat=cl&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIh-7N3qi-1wIVEJt-Ch0O4w6mEAAYASAAEgLDpPD_BwE) to do tastings at Eureka Heights, Town in City, Platypus, Saint Arnolds, Holler, and Great Heights Brewing Companies.
But you also don’t want to miss Karbach, Eleven Below, Lone Pint or Back Pew.
Karbach was bought by InBev last year, which caused a bunch of uproar and boycotts among the beer aficionados, but hopefully the deal will get them distributed across the country because everyone should get to taste a Karbach Weekend Warrior Pale Ale. It’s a fantastic beer on a hot afternoon.
I have tried a lot but always go back to sam adams boston lager!
I like that mug.
I’ll grab a six pack of that every once in a while.
This past weekend finished off Great Lakes Christmas Ale, the season has ended. Must be getting old Great Lakes Beer is getting too strong and the Cleveland craft guys are making too many blueberry/strawberry beers. I’ll settle on Lucky Buddha for a while, smooth!
Around here they’re making a beer called Blu Bobber, doubt I’ll ever try that one.
Cheers to Z man and hold your glasses high !!! Sam Adams will also work .
Hankster is your 68 still for sale?
