In my driveway ready for pick up. Looks like it could fire up and drive to the car wash.
I would come and get it with my truck and trailer and drop it off to Jim, if he was paying the expenses. That would make a nice trip, visiting Royce, maybe Bill, and a couple of others on the way down.
Dibs on the trailer hitch!
Awesome! Hopefully it will be able to make a few public appearances during this summer of the GT-E’s 50th anniversary.

Just goes to prove that Cougars do hibernate. So cool!!!
The jpeg is designated “pink gte.” It does look a bit pink in
the photo. How appropriate.
Maybe “pink gte” as in Jim Pinkerton’s GTE?
It looks much better with a quick wash. I can’t wait to see how it looks with a some time cleaning and polishing that paint.
Royce,. How nice is the original Mercury paint? And has any panels been painted or partially refinished?
But Don, how is Jim supposed to haul a trailer with the GTE if he pulls off the hitch? >.>
So that’s why my Eliminator has two extra holes in the rear bumper bar
It has been touched up in an area over the wheel opening where his daughter had a minor scrape on the LH front fender. Otherwise the original paint and pin stripes are outstanding. There is no touch up on the RH side or rear of the car. Also, it has not been washed by me or any one else recently.
Geez the things a guy misses when he drops out for a couple years.
Well I hoped that you learned your lesson. Now stay in touch.
