I may be slow noticing this, but anybody else notice all of the text links being added to posts? It looks like any time some one uses a word like tire or brakes or even power steering, it gets turned into a link to Ebay.

I’ve decreased my checking out the mcn site to about once every couple weeks, or, when an awesome thread like this directs me there.
Yep. Just another way to bring in the vendor bucks. Poor MCnet is being turned into a cash cow. I had said this in the past, I’ll say it again incase someone is listening, the group that bought MCnet bought a Ford truck forum I USED to frequent. Between all of the pop-up ads and “links” in text, it became impossible to navigate. They loaded the classifieds with so much crap that the classifieds section would lock-up. There is really NOTHING like going to a car/truck forum that you pay money to, only to find out your 'puter crashed from a virus. Ahhhh… the memories.
That’s pretty funny. Well done Royce. Sad to see what used to be such a good site fall off the seat and into the crapper. But good everyone is coming here now instead.

My popcorn is getting all soggy waiting for the action. Apparently the same lack of attention which is at the root of most of our complaints about what the site is/has become holds true here. It’s a whole lotta NOTHING.
Sad thing is that in spite of it all and the migration, I have the feeling that the majority of activity and views is still over there.

If about 10 (more) prominent members jumped fence it would speed up the inevitable migration. Bob, why not lead the pack?
