Sorry doesnât seem like enough to say. I canât imagine the heartbreak. My wife and I are on vacation with our kids and at the same time this awful thing happened to all of you. We admire your strength and courage and faith. Indeed it was a life well-lived, many gemstones were left behind to hold, and Alek lives on in eternity.
Don, I am so very sorry about Alek. Our family had two similar instances so I can understand a small bit of your loss. My continuing prayers for you, all of your family and the organ recipients along with best wishes for the continued strength youâve shown.

I donât even know how to begin to express my sorrow for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Like everyone else, I have a hard time comprehending this or coming up with any useful words. I wonât pretend I knew Alek super well, but during my 8 years at WCCC I would always see him around and witness some of his growing pains, as well as the adventures and shenanigans with his brothers. Life is weird. We think we have a lot of time, but we really have no idea. I was in the area just a month ago and got to say hi to all the Rushâs, including Alek, who seemed like he was growing up into a good dude. Unreal. Thinking of all of you up there.

Words wonât express the shock that this news conveys. I only know Mr. Rush through his informative video series and by reputation, they are always a pleasant way to spend time and to learn about this hobby. Because of this unique social media presence I would like to express to Don Rush and the entire Rush Family my deepest sympathies for the lost of their beloved son Alek.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful Video Don, as a new Cougar owner Iâve become a student of yoursâs and had the opportunity to see it a few weeks ago, they are kinda like a glimpse into you lifeâŚA good life and a good man.
