Uh…Grant…YOU’RE supposed to bring the free beer…until further notice…sheesh. “Free” doesn’t mean free for YOU, in this case…just free for everyone else!
Being locked out, having to be given multiple new pass words such as- 2ya7nl5z3fq8g amongst others for the ability to have the fun of reading the how to section. I left a one word question because after all of this yesterday that’s all I had time for. I do appreciate those that posted the help link, but this was the only place to go yesterday. Joking at my misfortune although clearly fun for those who see it as appropriate and timely doesn’t seem like the path I have tried to follow here and is it really the way this forum heading? Can anyone help with why my password of previous years is now not working, thanks Paul.
Wasn’t joking at your misfortune.
You should have given us just a little more information.
Now that we know what the problem is, I’m sure someone can help.
On the password the best thing to do is to copy and paste the new password into the log in screen, then change the password to what ever you want after you login. If you can’t do that then let me know and I will set a new password for you.
Ahhh! That’s so frustrating. I am locked out of one of my Mustang Forums and can’t even find a link there to ask for help. Hope you get it squared away.
I think part of the frustration is the necessity to repeatedly enter your user ID and password. I was already logged in, looked at this thread. To make this reply I had to re-enter my user ID and password.
I have had to do this more than once. “Improvements” made recently are a big step backward. And the smartass replies to the frustrated OP are not helpful.
I have not been on the “Other” Cougar forum since I was logged off and unable to log back on. I would sorely miss my interaction with other Cougar owners on this page if this sort of stuff continues.
A degree of “smartarsedness” has always been part of the spirit that makes this site fun and makes it a community. The last thing we need is heavy handed intervention like the actions that contributed to the decline of MCN.
