70 xr-7 resurrection

Well, after a $25 power steering pump from the swap meet, it made it back no problem..500 miles on it now and a small list of things to fix until i take it apart for body finishing

Ugh. Sorry about that. I guess you can call it an underbody wash jog

Just a reminder of where this started and what stage it was at exactly one year ago…on a rotisserie with no paint…

The Floor pan looks real good.I wish the bottom of mine looked that nice.
Maybe you could stop off here in Ohio before you get to Michigan.

I don’t get to have any fun working on my own stuff! Just finished a water pump and timing set for my kids 2017 Explorer

I spend a lot of time working on my kids things as well. I don’t find any of it fun anymore.

Ok, back to work on it after retirement activities…installed a bump steer kit from Baer due to toe changes during suspension travel caused by lowering. Got it aligned. Drives even better. Still have the swap meet ps pump on it from Carlisle and 900 miles on it. Borgeson Saginaw pump was defective out of the box…new one ready to install. Getting ready to install a/c lines. Also got some carb and timing tuning done and put the ride height to its final setting. This is with 3/4 tank fuel
