Cool stuff. Thanks for sharing. Now, we need to figure out a deal on that 53 F100 grill on the wall. I think you need that space for Cougar memorabilia more than for the pickup grill.
thanks Mike, Neal, Todd and Jeff. yes Jack did make the oil pan along with the custom Rainier overflow can, the coolcan for fuel that looks like a mini still. he also made the 6" pinion snubber and not to sure about the pinto? converter welded to C-6 converter front plate. The grill must stay Jeff. Almost everything in the garage is cougar. Had to switch it up. I might use it on this truck when i restore it!
As crude as it looks I believe you actually have a factory C8 deep oil pan there. Notice it is not made to clear Mustang / Cougar steering - it only fits properly in Fairlane / Cyclone / Torino / Comet. It would work in a Mustang / Cougar going straight I guess.
Also on one shelf you have the factory Air Lift kit for the rear suspension - a pretty rare option on these cars.
royce, you are correct about the oilpan looking a bit crude. i will post a couple more pics later. Jack did remove the power steering if that would have made a difference. As for the airbags, Jack does not recall where he got them. they do fit really well to the frame rails, with the way the brackets are formed. Could not find any numbers on them though. Kim
