I’ll buy that “rusty” GT-E from you…rummage around wallet…looks like I can give you a dollar…deal?
Sorry Mo, I sold that one to buy my R code.
Oldwood that’s a nice looking rusty GTE. Cardinal Red saddle interior sounds like a nice color combo. How long did you own that GTE?
I would have raised Mo’s offer to 2 bucks… That would have made me the high bidder. Whats that saying? “A day late and a dollar short”.
Steven
Dagnabbit…missed it by this much!!!
I had it maybe 2 years. I will dig up more pics. Unfortunatly most were lost in the fire, as well as a pot full of Mega parts.
Mike, I thought that GT-E looked familiar in your pic. I have the ATSOTC magazine (Vol 26 No.4 Fall 2005) that has the article about the car written in it. One of the pics in the article is of the interior and agree how nice it is. John
The car has gone to a good home. The guy that bought it can do all the work himself where I was going to KTL. My R code is a differant story. Once my shop is done I will do it myself.
To me both cars are about equal, I have allways had a woody for a 427 but the history of the R code makes it way cool.
I’m sure Tom would do a better job but I will get way more satisfaction doing it myself.
John, just reading, I love the color combo on your car. I’d love to see pictures.
Mike, thanks for the compliment on my color combo. I don’t wan’t to highjack the thread. If you go to my profile over at MC.NET(same name, 68PUMA) I have some old photos of my car in my album. John
OldWood, check out my photo gallery. Who’s the guy in 2nd photo? John[album][/album] [album]769[/album][album]768[/album]

Good times…
Sure was, a great time. That picture really was to keep my wife focused on what my car could look like.
After about 40,000 in sheet metal work!! One of my best memorys of that weekend was Royce smoking that 427 peg leg at the end of the parking lot. A good burn out would fill the inside of the car with smoke it was so rusty.
